Since Carson and Gilmore won't be in the debates it isn't that important, but it will be newsworthy none the less when they finally go, although who knows if Gilmore stays in til the bitter end.

Wait, who says Carson "won't be in the debates"?  Given the candidates left in the race, he'll most likely qualify for this next one, as he only needs to be in the top 5 in national polls.  He's easily ahead of Kasich in national polls, isn't he?  So how will he not qualify?

Gilmore strikes me as this year's Republican version of Dennis Kucinich.

Kucinich won certain votes and not others because of his ideology. Gilmore is just a generic Republican who isn't very popular.

Also, it's easy to forget this now, but Kucinich actually won delegates.

Kasich might drop out soon as well. Perhaps even sooner than Carson to be honest. Carson is still far ahead of Kasich in national polling.
