Hitting Sanders over national security is probably the smartest thing Clinton can do. To be fair though, it passed the Senate 96-0 and Sanders came out in support anyways.

LOL, does Hillary want us to compare missed votes? Hillary missed a lot more when running for President than Hillary. Such a fail attack.

And I'm sure his vote would have been crucial in a 96-0 vote.

It was a very respectable campaign until they realized he actually poses a threat.

Out of all her desperate attacks, this one isn't as ridiculous. He did say N Korea was the biggest threat to national security, and missing the vote definitely works against him when it comes to foreign policy.

He lacks foreign policy skill and this is merely an excuse to highlight that. His foreign policy acumen is to say things like "ISIS is a very, very, very bad problem" or "That is a very, very, very serious issue". He loads up on adverbs and adjectives when he's not serious about an issue or totally ignorant about it.

Clearly he should repeat all the Bush administration lies while voting for a $2 trillion war. And call for a no fly zone where Russian planes are flying. That would show he's very serious about making the middle east a sh**thole.

To be fair even Rubio showed up and voted.

When you miss a vote that even Rubio shows up for, it's pretty sad.

Like most things in this campaign, it will have little to no impact.

Not only that but someone should alert jfern that his hero agrees with Obama on letting Russian planes bombing ISIS in Syria.

Clinton would want Sanders to waste his time on a 96-0 vote in Washington instead of campaigning in NH. How sad can you get Hillary the horrendous?

Lindsey Graham, Dan Sullivan, and Dick Durbin were the other non-voters, FWIW.

Anyway, it's unfortunate that he missed the vote but it was 96-0 so I think it's kind of a stupid campaign issue.

Or, you know, doing his job? Personally doing his part to get sanctions in place for the country he so embarrassingly said was so scary and dangerous in the last debate? Or is Sanders all talk, no leadership? Smiley

He did say North Korea was the biggest issue so I do think he takes it seriously.Don't think this is big issue with a 96-0 vote & US already has many sanctions on North Korea.

But you are correct, I think he should have voted!
