Don't know if this has been posted yet, but in the GOP primary Bernie Sanders received 2.095 write-in votes to Hillary Clinton's 540.

In the DEM primary, Trump got 1.795 write-in votes followed by Kasich (438) and Bush (263).

It also means Bernie received 0.7% of the vote in the GOP primary and Hillary 0.2%

Trump received 0.7% in the DEM primary.

Cool, I wanted to run a tally to see how well all the candidates were doing and this is excellent. A few questions though:

1. Do you have the Associated Press links to the complete results for Iowa, I seem to have lost that link.

2. In these New Hampshire reports on write-ins, it shows a "scatter" listing on the bottom. What does that mean?

3. Why does the total list of write-ins on Secretary of State page not add up to the total write ins on the AP page? http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/files/elections/2016/by_state/NH_Page_0209.html?SITE=AP&SECTION=POLITICS The SOS page says that 3,475 write-in ballots were cast, but the AP link shows just 2,174...

Also, hypothetically, if one the the Republican candidates actually won enough votes to get a delegate on the Democratic side (or vise-versa), would that mean that they would be in contention to win the Democratic nomination?

Why are there always so many write-ins for the other party in NH? Is it that way in every state and it's just that NH are the only ones who count them? Or does NH have some mechanism whereby a registered Republican can cast a Democratic ballot and have it count as a "write in"?
