NE: Nomination of Pikachu to the Senate

Hi guys, I was informed by Ciync that in order to appoint Pikachu to the Senate I'd have to get him approved by the Senate,

Hopefully this can be a quick and easy process

Pikachu has served the Northeast admirably for months. I'd have no problem confirming him to the Senate, though he would be the third Northeastern Senator this term after Oakvale and DKrol.

EDIT: Whoops, I thought this was the federal government section. Either way, pikachu would be great.

The confirmation hearing is for filling the vacancy of the Northeast Senator. This is to have representation for a short period since there will be an election soon. The nominee has held functions in the region, he is qualified, and I will vote to confirm.

I'll keep this very short: I believe that I'm more than qualified for this position, having held many different offices in regional government, and I believe I have competently executed my duties in them.

While I am not a citizen of this glorious Region, as a Senator and a long-standing colleague of Mr. Pikachu, I feel strongly that he is the best man for the job and would be willing to testify on his behalf should the Assembly so desire.
