I went to look at his older posts to see if he was as commie in the beginning but it turns out he was anti communist and he like truman for standing up to the USSR lol.  He also called the US a freedom country

The new TNF has more intelligence and more interesting things to say than any of the red avatars around here.

We all change, but I'm fascinated in how, exactly, people change.

As in, do our basic views change, or just our application?

I've always had the basic mindset of a libertarian (less government control is generally a good thing), but I used to apply it from the framework I was raised in: conservatism. Once I started looking at things more critically I realized I was libertarian, and decided that libertarian positions more matched what I really thought.

I think TNF is a former Southern Baptist (like me), so maybe he held certain views due to his upbringing, but shook them off when he realized communism was more his thing.

I love how the internet can unite the North Korea apologists and the "libertarians"

None. I just find the notion of TNF's deranged drivel being "intelligent" or "interesting" in any sense to be absolutely hilarious.

TNF doesn't need to be remotely intelligent or interesting for Sanchez's claim to be true.

12 months ago he would've been fairly accurate. These days he's way too deranged for that to apply, though.

From what I can tell, TNF is a smart guy outside of the absurd communist drivel. And the fact that someone, in 2016, can believe all the nonsense he believes with a straight face, is very, VERY interesting.

So, the essence of Sanchez's statement is right, although I'd say "most of the red avatars" instead of "any."

Eh, it's annoying how lots of people who aren't actually socialist by either partisan or ideological definitions have socialist avatars, but it's a good way to identify people who are leftist but dislike the Democratic Party.

Surely the fact that he's a DPRK apologist gives you enough to ridicule without having to make stuff up?
