2nd day of my business workshop in Upper Austria.

The workshop and debate is so technical that I almost fell asleep, but the people and the food are great.

Don't you mean you almost woke up from your dream that you actually were in the fantasyland of Austria.

Toured the Ben and Jerry's factory yesterday. Say what you will about their politics, but they make good ice cream.

Turns out my finals end early next month and I can be home in time for my birthday, so that's nice. Still another year until I don't have to ask my older friends to buy me drinks though ugh.

So today, I learned that my fathers family converted to Catholicism from Judaism during The Inquisition. And there is a large Hasidic community growing in my neighborhood.

Went to the Doctor today, turns out a build of fluid and pressure caused my ear drum to burst. I won't be able to hear out of my right eat for the next few months. Luckily, I'm on enough pain killer to make a Clydesdale see stars, so it doesn't hurt too much.

Sorry to hear that. I've had ear problems for a while too, so I can sympathize.

I have a friend who goes there. It has a beautiful campus and is in a really pretty spot of the state with lots of outdoor stuff to do.

Got an absolute ton of work to do, mainly on modern History for the exams next month. Hardest thing about uni is having to waste your day away with menial chores like buying sellotape to fix my draws with.  #Studentlife

Well, just as I left it started to rain and I was dry to the bone, but I visited a site of "Marian apparition", because there's a very nice small wooded church there (and there's not much wooden churches left).

So today, we visited an orthodox Jewish shul on a fieldtrip it was pretty cool and we wore kippahs and got to see the Torah and read from the Talmud. Overall it was pretty fun and fascinating.
