Good choices. I'm studying political science. Don't be like me in High School and give up; I found out recently that I probably could have gotten into FSU by the skin of my teeth if my GPA was like 0.1 higher than it was, but I never looked into that because I never thought I'd get into FSU to begin with.

Don't know what's worse- tried to pass John Bolton off as a credible academic, or burning my dinner

So I missed the High School graduation of five of my friends because I thought it was tomorrow night. On top of it all, my younger brother went AWOL again and hasn't returned to his half-way house. I fear he might have relapsed for the umpteenth time.

I'm sorry. I hope he returns safely.

There is one major problem with kittens. They grow up to become cats.

I'm in a love triangle with two Spanish boys. It's not as fun as it might sound.

If anything that will be a relief.

Are love triangles ever fun?

Yes, but only when you're on the outside of the triangle.

I never really understood how a true love triangle could work without one or more of those involved being bisexual/homosexual. Among heterosexuals, I suppose one would only be able to form a mere love angle.

If you have non-heteros, there are no limits to the number of sides in the lovegon.

Finally returned to the Bay Area...the good part, not Stanford. Took more than 12 hours, $75 in rebooking fees, and I didn't get home until 2 in the morning, but it is done.

And I returned to my old job like nothing happened at all...

A crazy tourist at my work FOLLOWED ME around the restaurant and started taking video and pictures of me today... I felt incredibly violated.

My flight landed at the Kansas City airport at 3:45 today.

At 4:10, they shut down the airport due to tornados and sent us to the tunnels leading to the parking garage. (Even the people on the secure side of the checkpoints were sent to the tunnels.) At 4:30, they released us.

Then came the torrential downpours and the lightning, so no workers were outside unloading the planes. I got to watch the outgoing passengers file back through the security checkpoints, although I never did any of the lines completely disappear.

At 6:00, I got my luggage and left the airport.

His name is Finn (we passed through the Finnieston area of Glasgow in the train and it stuck.) He's a 9 week old ginger tom who is nothing but energy. Though he's comfortable being picked up and his paws played with which is something! His nick name is 'puppy'...

This is him with me and a Celtic scarf.

All these "opinion of <user>" threads are making me feel bad. I'm sure lots don't care, but also sure lots may actually care if they see a poll showing everyone hates them.

People can say "it's the internet, who care", but obviously there is a person on the other side of each username here. If you're truly just acting like yourself (and not a troll), and everyone rates you terribly, that has to mean something.

I agree.  Even though it's MK, I felt bad when he had like 30 dislikes and 0 likes.
