I've been feeling increasingly intrusive suicidal urges over the past few weeks, to the point where it's currently near-constant. I wonder if that's the sort of thing a meds adjustment could fix. It probably is, but my prescriber is hours away.

I've been feeling increasingly intrusive suicidal urges over the past few weeks, to the point where it's currently near-constant. I wonder if that's the sort of thing a meds adjustment could fix. It probably is, but my prescriber is hours away.

That's a common side-effect to some medications, including certain anti-depressants.  Whatever the reason, I do hope you see your doctor or prescriber as soon as you can.

From my experience I believe it just takes some time to figure out for you and your doctor which are working fine and which don't. Those I'm presently on are OK and I'm functioning much better, but it took experimenting.

I just broke my rule of never talking about this on the internet, oh well.

So...I might be getting hit by Hurricane Matthew Thursday and Friday, right now we're projected to have 100% chance of rain with winds between 35-50 mph possible. They have been increasing the wind strength since Friday night's projection.

After the nightmare of that last Hurricane that just rolled through Tallahassee, I sure hope this one stays the hell away. The power will take a year to come back on.

They have been moving the projected path further and further to the west, which is terrifying us here.
