My neighbor got the cops called on her last night because she saw a Hillary sign on her neighbors lawn so she stripped naked and started streaking down the street in a fit of rage while screaming that the Jews were in control of Trump who is letting Hillary take over the world....

I'm not even kidding...
Did this neighbor happen to be ProgressiveCanadian?
I thought ProgressiveCanadian was a man. ProgressiveCanadienne?
You really think someone would do that? Just go on the internet and tell lies?
Wait, people do that?

My world is collapsing around me...
I'm pretty sure PC is an alien from Krypton or something like that.
PC is Superman? Does that mean he's Kent's sock?
Is it that obvious?
So, here's what's been going on with me lately.

1. I registered to vote a few days ago, meaning that I will be voting in the 2016 Republican Primary in Ohio.
Cool. When does Ohio vote, anyways? Our primaries aren't any time soon, so I'll have to wait until April to vote for Rubio (or Kasich or Jeb! if he's out by then).

Where did you get in, and where did you apply? I got in to Ohio State a few days ago, and I've also gotten into Texas A&M.

That sounds fun.

I got accepted into UConn. That brings it up to three schools I got into (Texas A&M, Ohio State, and UConn) and one that I got rejected from (Texas Austin).

Got rejected from UCLA. Sad

On the bright side, I got into Boston University.

My school is canceled tomorrow because of snow.
Two hour delay, that's it for us.

I have to write a 10 page thesis tonight and I so don't want to.
What grade are you in? I don't remember ever having to write that kind of stuff, and I'm a senior.

So I missed the High School graduation of five of my friends because I thought it was tomorrow night. On top of it all, my younger brother went AWOL again and hasn't returned to his half-way house. I fear he might have relapsed for the umpteenth time.
I'm sorry. I hope he returns safely.

Well, I guess I'm either not going to prom or going by myself. Sad

My grandpa fell down the stairs and broke his humerus. He's 82, so it's obviously harder on him than it would be on someone younger Sad
I hope he gets better soon.

^^^^ Sorry to hear that.
...I know what you meant, but the way you quoted my post instead of Kal's makes it seem like you're sorry to hear that I hope Kal's grandfather gets better soon.

I've already mentioned it elsewhere, but since this thread seems more relevant, I'll mention it here, too. From ~2005-2009, I posted here a whole ton as "SpeedOfSound". In my long time gone, I'm happy to say that everything has been well. I've been given the opportunity to pursue the dream and I'm currently living in Texas, well underway in my PhD work in Classics (specializing in Latin prose/Roman history). I've come back around because I still can't resist a US presidential election and I can apparently only understand and enjoy politics in the crazy way y'all have always done it. I'm so glad to see so many names still posting here that were already legends when I was originally on!
Welcome back!

Congrats, LLR.

In other news, I accidentally almost set my microwave on fire...so...yea, im stupid.
I'm kind of glad we don't have a microwave in our room. There's one on the floor, but I've never had to use it yet.
