any word yet on total spending after Super Tuesday? I'm curious how much money the anti-Trump Super PACs are spending and how much Trump is actually spending.

1) Corporate Welfare King is a :30 second ad talking about Rubio's ties to Big Sugar.  According to the ad, Rubio practices pay-to-pay corporate welfare like Hillary Clinton.

Anyone else get a weird Marco=cocaine dealer undertone from this one. The imagery. The 'make it snow' big letters, and of course being a Cuban from Florida has that Tony Montana thing...all of which is ironic as the attack is coming from a PAC supporting a different Cuban

Trump had to pull his antiKasich OH ad due to improper disclosure.

I think the CFG is just in IN. Wonder if the other anti Trump supper PACs that spent in WI will play in IN as well.  Also it's interesting they are targeting Kasich voters instead of Trump.

Edit: saw a guy from the Our Principles PAC says they will start TV and Radio in  Indiana tomorrow

according to NBC, Clinton has stopped spending on any TV ads.

Sanders is still spending in most of the upcoming states, including CA.

Has the actual Trump campaign run any TV ads since the CA primary?

I believe that little Trump video is some kind of reaction to the criticism that his speech went on too long (it was the longer than Romney and Obama's combined in 2012). They are trying to turn that around and say...see how much applause he got! That's awesome!.   Of course professionals who have done this all before would have calculated those applause breaks into the speech but no matter.

All 'Briefing' videos from Clinton are just on the web and shared via social media. None have any paid media behind them. That being said, sometimes messages from these longer 'Briefing' videos can be distilled into shorter actual TV ads either from the Clinton campaign or their Super PAC.  That being said, I still think it will be hard to connect the Russia...to...Trump dots in a snappy 30 second ad that doesn't look crazy conspiratorial.

So far Priorities seems laser focused on women voters (and I suspect white educated women). Their messages all seem to focus on Trump's lack of empathy towards regular people.  They keep going back to the same well, so their testing must show that it is working.

Priorities USA anti-Trump ad "I love War" gets close to the famous Daisy ad. Running in North Carolina, Ohio, Florida, Nevada and Iowa starting Friday with $5m spend.

As noted, that nuke commercial is from the Super PAC. The closest Clinton's actual campaign has come to the "Daisy" ad is the one they release a couple of weeks ago with Trump talking about how he wants to "bomb the s--t out of them" with shots of planes taking off from a carrier (so no nuke imagery).

https://youtu.be/UqpQ4neS68g

I would also say this ad they released in July uses children like the Daisy ad, although in this case the message is about his crassness and termperment than about starting a war.

https://youtu.be/mrX3Ql31URA

So they have ads implying Trump is going to bomb like a crazy man and ads showing how Trump is a horrible role model for kids, but none have gone for the jugular like Daisy with how Trump is going to get your kids killed in a nuclear firestorm.

The thing about Trump's ads is they don't really feel Trumpian. They are like fake political ads from a movie about a fictional candidate. And an older movie at that. He needs better ad people to create ads that fit him better.

Web PSA from new "Save the Day. Vote" PAC created by Joss Whedon. Video features 'sh-t ton' of celebrities telling people to register and vote to stop Trump (although they never mention his name).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRp1CK_X_Yw&app=desktop

..also promises that Mark Ruffalo will do a 'full monty' nude scene in his next movie, if Trump loses.

PUSA has a TV ad about Trump not paying taxes

https://youtu.be/RMQ3fkAlU-Q

Looks like it was made just based on the debate comment about being 'smart' and before the whole NYT thing came out.

Trump TV spot with Ivanka on paid leave.

https://youtu.be/ebyF5JUUtJ8

There is also another ad with a mother talking about how Trump is going to make childcare tax deductable I saw on WADR. Their paid media strategy this week seems to be focused on getting back those college women.

Not sure where they are spending yet. Anyone see any specific buy numbers recently?

Clinton is running a radio ad in Florida about the Trump Cuba embargo thing.

https://soundcloud.com/hillary-clinton-976818877/two-trumps-hillary-clinton/s-rW8qL

They starting running the ad just 3 days after Newsweek ran the story, which shows you how they are leaving no stone unturned and no group not micro-targetted.

Clinton has a couple of 'closing argument' type of ads.

First is her straight to camera and generally positive with focus on her devotion to children
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4gRAKAjd04

The second brings back the voice of God (Morgan Freeman) to highlight the differnce between her and Trump

cute they got the original 'Daisy' girl but that is just one of the Clinton campaign 'Briefing' videos which are just online and essentially just for the true-believes. Not an actual TV spot.
