I've dabbled in a couple of those, but of the sh**t I play regularly, CivIV/V are the only things that's close.  I've always wanted to give one of the Tropico games a go (that's where you run a fictional island in the Caribbean or something?).

Superpower 2, the Tropico games, EUIV, Supreme Ruler: Cold War and Democracy 3 on this list.

Now games that are not on the list that I have in my Steam Library that fit in this category:
CK2
HOI3
Vicky 2
Darkest Hour: A Hearts of Iron Game

Now ones that almost/ kinda do:
Mount and Blade: Warband
Mount and Blade: With Fire and Sword
Empire: Total War
Medieval 2: Total War
Rome: Total War
Total War: Shogun 2(Fall of the Samurai only)

Pushing it but can be argued:

Wargame: Airland Battle

I was YUGELY into SuperPower 2 around 2011; I used to play as ChairmanSanchez in the multiplayer RP games. It was a lot of fun. I'd literally feign ill at school if I knew a major game was going down at like 2:00 PM so I could be home. I loved the modded scenarios, especially Vas's Cold War games.

I have EU3III (and the first three expansions) at home, but not on my computer up here in Tally. I have PresidentForever 2008 on my laptop but I rarely play it. I am considering buying Prime Minister Forever but there aren't a lot of good scenarios for that.

I actually just got President Infinity and man do I have to say, some of the results can be quite wacky lol

Bush gets like 1-2% in Iowa and New Hampshire, Fiorina manages to win Iowa, Christie is leading in Tennessee and Arkansas (with Huckabee in the race), I managed to get Kasich to have a lead in many states, it's a good game with wacky results sometimes.
