I definitely agree. It'd be a good first step to fix the horrendous primary process, not the least of which would also include ending Iowa and New Hampshire's stranglehold as the first states. If there's something both parties could work together on, I think it would be that (and yes, it would require both parties working together to end the reign of IA and NH).

I just looked at 2008 and I didn't realize how irrelevant the rural counties are on the Democratic side (I know they're small, but I didn't realize it'd be that insignificant) and just how miserable turnout was. A win in Clark and Washoe should be enough, unless they're both about 50-50 or so.

I don't see how Sanders wins this one. Clark is now 55-45 Clinton.

If that holds, he can't win. But, let's wait and see if that holds. It wouldn't surprise me if there were some shifts.

As we all know, we don't know where the results are coming from within the county (unless they explicitly say so).

Which is exactly why the caucus system needs to die.

Fox entrance poll - Latinos (20% of the vote) 54-43% Sanders
Independents 75-20% Sanders

Independents? Isn't this a closed caucus?

Party ID, is a bit different than Registration.

I think it's either open or semi-open. I think it's the Republican caucus that's closed.

My precinct was 39-31 to Bernie, so 8 delegates to 7.

The other precinct in the same room was 23-22 to Hillary, so 4 delegates to 3.

Obviously that's a small sample, but what would you say was the demographic make-up of your precinct?

Then put on MSNBC, Chris Matthews is pushing Clinton hard.

I'm a Hillary supporter, but I do agree with you. I like Chris Matthews, but he is of a generation that seems to take far too much offense with the "democratic socialist" label.

This is an important victory. If she has momentum going into SC and wins convincingly and overwhelmingly, I think Hillary will build a juggernaut through Super Tuesday.

"Democrat" as the adjective LOL. Never fails.

Indeed. If you can't use proper grammar, I refuse to read any further (not that I'm going to read an RNC press release anyway).

Yeah, if Hillary narrowly won whites, and landslided blacks I'm sure it works out.

I hope you don't believe that. If we don't have a huge landslide turnout among the black vote in November, a Republican will take the White House. And I don't need to tell you what will happen if Republicans control every lever of government from top to bottom.
