What if these two former governors, defeated in 2014, would face each other in a presidential contest?

Former Illinois Governor Pat Quinn/Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar-284 EV/52.1%
Former Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett/Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee-45.8%

Lower turnout, bases not so enthused, but Quinn has less baggage than Corbett. Quinn picks Amy Klobuchar to appeal to women voters. Corbett picks Huckabee to appeal to some conservatives.

I'd like to see Pat Quinn vs. Pat Buchanan. The battle of the Peoples' Pats.

When you're a Republican incumbent governor who loses to your Democratic challenger in a GOP year, there's something wrong with you.
