I have some sort of weird charisma "it" factor that makes the ladies swoon and causes people to like me for reasons that I don't understand in the slightest. I have no way to accurately gauge my own opinion of my own social skills but in a vacuum I'd place myself at a 3 or 4 because I'm awkward,  self-centered, flakey, and susceptible to dramatically intense mood swings over trivial issues. However when I take empirical evidence into account and consider the outcomes of my social interactions, I honestly couldn't rate myself as anything less than a perfect ten out of ten. As I stumble through life I have somehow managed to accomplish amazing feats of charisma because for some reason most people consider me likeable and attractive and personable and I honestly don't understand how or why at all

4, struggling to get better, though. I am naturally an introvert but also think that a difficult childhood (despite the best efforts of my parents; it was because of stuff that happened at school!) is partially to blame. I have joined a Toastmasters group and am being intentional about trying to get to know people better and take an interest in their lives instead of focusing on nothing but work.

I also have somewhat of an anxiety issue which I fight on a daily basis. This doesn't just have to do with socializing, though.

I'd have been a solid 2 in high school and college. I mostly have my wife to thank for the fact that I'm even a 4 since she has given me a lot of confidence and pushed me (gently) into more social situations than i'd have thought to enter on my own.

I am not out on the town every night, but my interactions with others are always pleasant.

My girlfriend and i go out to restaurants or dinner parties once a week. Her friends are right into nice alcohol and expensive nights, so if i am the designated driver, i put her on the clock so she does not stay too long.

6ish, I can read people pretty well, but I'm really clingy and awkward, and I sometimes put my foot in my mouth.

I'll play weatherman and say 4, feels like 1. I always feel extremely awkward/anxious when talking to people, but I can appear, externally, like a Functioning Human Being^TM for a few minutes at least.
