Hope she makes a full recovery.  Guess this will end any VP speculation or whatnot.

Hopefully she gives the cancer a bigger thumping than Todd Akin and the Missouri GOP.

One of my most disliked political figures, but I still wish her a full recovery because I'm not a horrible person.

Unlike certain Democrats' responses to Scalia's death, I echo the sentiment. As my mother recently had pre-cancer cells removed, I can only imagine how her family feels. One of the best Senators, and probably in the top three Democratic Senators.

Sad. Not her biggest fan, but I hope all is well sooner rather than later.

I disagree, she is a fantastic senator. But I think you should be applauded for having the courage to say it.

The pearl clutching in threads like this is disgusting and needs to stop. News flash- its called schadenfreude, and everyone does it at some point.

As sh**tty of a person as she is, she's clearly not so sh**tty that she deserves to die horribly.

I also happen to like Claire McCaskill personally and find her more palatable than most Democratic women in the Senate. She is a fighter and I have no doubt that she will beat this.

That being said, I am in hundred percent agreement. The people calling out the karma post literally celebrated Thatcher's death. Their shameless hypocrisy is disturbing and unfortunate.

You mean you had breast cancer when you weren't even thirty yet?  Wow, I can only imagine the shock and terror.  I usually associate breast cancer with either middle-aged or elderly women, not young adults.

How atrocious! I am with her all the way! I hope she can make a full recovery and we'll see her more in the Senate in the coming years.

Got distracted with real life stuff.

I would like not to, but I cannot help myself.

Well, she finally contributes personally to her beloved health-care and pension cuts.

Nicest thing I can say, really.

"No qualms about making enemies" but in a slightly different way, brittain.

I don't care for garbage to "be nice" to my hero; I care for them to be respectful. But I guess I expect too much from the slime.

When Chavez died, lot of right wingers lacked those sensibilities. Whether people agree or disagree about whether Thatcher was a good thing for Britain, it's objective fact that her policies threw thousands of Britons into permanent poverty and ruined entire communities. There are good reasons some people hate her, and I think those people should be allow to show their feelings for her.

Reagan was an ass, but doesn't even come close to Thatcher's level of vileness.

Am I missing something? Did the moderators or the posters themselves deleted their messages? cause Tony didn't talk about the Karma post and the other three didn't even appear on this thread.

How is that "celebrating her death" exactly?
