If I/ (maybe King too) do it again, we wouldn't have set teams, so each person would get one, and could pick the city and name. So you couldn't own both Pittsburgh and Cleveland.

A very interesting idea; I would consider participating. How does it work - like a normal fantasy football league?

It's not a fantasy league.

Using What If Sports, a website that simulates matchups between any two teams, ever, we run a season, but you don't have the normal NFL teams. So I can be called the Alabama Warriors, and then I would pick a team (2004 New England Patriots for example) that would represent me during the simulations.

yeah, that'd be cool...of course I won't be using the 1972 Dolphins again...who would've thought they'd go 5-11 for me?

That was really wierd, although I don't think the simulator bases everything on the record.

Sure, I'm in.  Not too sure what I'd have to do though.

Just name a team (Ohio Joe Republics) and then a real team and year for the simulator (1986 Cleveland Browns).

Ok I guess I'll take a team. If we're starting it I'll just state it here:

Greendale  Gorgon's (after the one's from Greek myths)

Real Team: Greenbay Packers, 1996 (go winning superbowl year) Tongue

Enough people expressed interest, so I guess I'll start a new thread for it now.

Sure, but I'll be running my own team.

edit: Maybe you could change the name, unless you want me to continue as a shareholder and own 1 1/2 teams...

I'll take a team:  Call 'em the American Samoa Admirals, and have 'em be the Tampa Bay team from their first season in which they went 0-14.
