The arrogance of Team Rubio is just unbelievable.

LOL, maybe when Young Marco can win a single state he can start telling people to drop out.

Kasich is the more natural candidate to go up against Trump, and actually would probably do better in the GE against Clinton. Hopefully he doesn't succumb to whatever early pressures are directed his way. (I'd much rather see Cruz be pressured to drop out, especially given the fact that we haven't been to any of the states in which Kasich would do well, but it's still fairly early to be asking anyone to drop; I'm not convinced Rubio is the best "establishment" option...).

Considering Kasich's record of accomplishment compared to Marco's, he can laugh in their faces.

Bad idea.  Kasich should stick around at least until more Northern states start voting, since that's where his greatest strength is likely to be.

If anything, Carson should withdraw; I don't know why he hasn't yet.  It's not like he wants the job; he was basically drafted.

In the new national NBC poll, Carson has 8%?!? - as long as he has those ratings, he is not getting out!

I hope all this backfires.  It's incredible that Rubio, who's already screwed up and blown several major opportunities (don't forget the consolidation in November, and when he was tied for first with Bush in June) and failed to spark real interest, is demanding that Kasich, who's run a nearly flawless campaign to this point, drop out right as he starts to get real momentum.  I mean Kasich has gone from 1-2% to 8-15% in most state and national polls over the last two weeks.  If anyone's showing real weakness it's Rubio, who in spite of everything is still stuck in the teens in most of these state polls coming out.

They really need to give Kasich a chance.  He's finally blossomed into a real candidate who can hold his own, the main thing holding him back right now is the narrative that he can't win.

Kasich usually seems to be sensible and for this reason I think he will be out by the end of the day on Friday. A Rubio vs Trump race could backfire. But Republicans should do their best to nominate the most sensible candidate they have available that has (so far) been quite formidable even after making missteps. Kasich has been nearly flawless but hasn't gained any traction outside of the northeast. That is not a winning strategy. Kasich has no chance to become the nominee. Republicans have gotta go all-in with their last best hope (Rubio) of keeping the race as close as possible this autumn. Trump will get shellacked against Hillary.

There's a debate on Thursday and another debate a week later.
If Trump, Cruz, or Kasich can trip up Rubio, who is under the most pressure he's ever been under at this point, and make him bellyflop like Christie did, then Kasich could replace him.
Two debates!  What are the odds?  Everyone will have their sights trained on Rubio.

No, because he is the best shot Republicans have of actually trumping the Trump. Wink
