What do you guys think of an original idea?

I was originally going to do a Star Wars game, but, in the process of researching, I've came up with a new idea; this idea won't leave my head, and I don't think I would be able to do Star Wars for a while, so if any one wants to take my place moderating a Star Wars game go ahead.

Anyway, I have an idea for a game based in an original world I created; if I was to do this idea, I thought nobody would want to do it. So, I'm doing a poll.

It's inspired by the King's Landing plot line of GOT, and somewhat by the concept of Babylon 5. In a fantasy world, there are several nations, a goblin nation, human nation, elf nation (among others). After initial meetings, they established a city that would be independent of the laws of those nations, and be dedicated to keeping peace. Now, the nations are on the verge of war, and it's your job as representatives of the various races to keep the peace, while also protecting their interests.

2. Would there be a map?
3. Would we have a summary of our nations and the history of the last few days/weeks/months?
4. Would it be possible to play as the mayor of the city?
5. Would each representative have, say, twelve guards and sixty policemen, the latter as escorts?
