Carter flips Oregon and Washington and retains Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, and Kentucky.  The rest is the same.

Anderson doesn't run, endorses Bush.

Fmr. CIA Director George H.W. Bush (R-TX) / Gov. Al Quie (IR-MN) - 400 EVs
Pres. Jimmy Carter (D-GA) / Vice Pres. Walter Mondale (DFL-MN) - 138 EVs

Fmr. CIA Director George HW Bush / Congressman Philip M. Crane (Republican): 445 EV, 54% PV

President James E. Carter Jr. / Vice President Walter F. Mondale (Democratic): 93 EV, 44.3% PV

Carter does better in the South and narrowly carries Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, and Alabama. However, Maryland, Rhode Island, and Hawaii (states Carter won in real life) go to Bush. Anderson doesn't run and half of his support goes Bush, the other half goes Carter.

Hmm.. That's a little trickier. Maybe Something like this:

President George HW Bush / Vice President Phillip M. Crane (Republican): 483 EV, 56.5% PV

Fmr. Vice President Walter F. Mondale / Congresswoman Geraldine A. Ferraro (Democratic): 55EV, 42.9% PV

Still think Bush would’ve won. Carter was deeply unpopular. Would Bush have been as successful as Reagan? Probably not

He still would've been fondly remembered and would be the President Republicans strived to be like, at least until some Republican that was more charismatic and bold got elected President sometime as early as 1988 but no later than 2000.
