This seems hastily arranged. My bet is they were holding this endorsement until after Tuesday but felt the need to pull the pin after last night's debate.   Just speculation but campaigns often sit on endorsements waiting to time them for max impact

Why would you wait for arguably the biggest endorsement you could hope for until after the biggest primary day?

Good for Trump, though it's strange he chose to unveil this in Texas instead of a more moderate ST state where it would have had more effect.

Why? If he wins TX Cruz is knocked out and the nomination is virtually wrapped up.

Because Christie's endorsement does Trump little good (and maybe some harm) in TX, OK, AR and other Southern states, while reinforcing Cruz's narrative about Trump: that he's neither conservative nor even really Republican.

Giuliani is also advising Trump already. He'd be a natural endorsement.

Trump's in Arkansas and Alabama this weekend. Potential Huckabee/Sessions endorsements coming?

Huckabee will not endorse someone whose pro-life credentials are questionable at best.

Huckabee will endorse whoever Huckabee wants to endorse, and that person is TRUMP.

Did you miss the pastor at today's rally who knew just 3 thing about Donald Trump, the 2nd of which was an ardent, uncompromising pro-lifer?

I was with Huck in 08 solely due to that matter and look where I am now.

Only a matter of time until Scott officially endorses him too. I wonder what other unpopular GOP Gov is next after that.

I wonder if the Koch Brothers will let Scott Walker endorse him...

Fallin is an establishment hack. She'll back Rubio if it comes down to it.

Just saying, Rick Snyder's approval ratings were negative even before the Flint incident.

Chris Christie isn't exactly popular in Texas, to put it kindly. As far as I can tell, I was the only one in the state supporting his campaign.

It would have played better in a Minnesota or Massachusetts.

I thought he'll announce Sandoval as his running mate just to troll both Obama and the Senate Republicans.

most of the WI gop and his staff already support rubio, so that's probably unlikely. I imagine he will endorse when it gets closer to the primary here.

He wowed that Texas crowd though. I think Post-Trump Christie would work just fine.
