Clinton and Trump will be the nominees. I don't know why people are so shocked by this.

Not shocked. Just disappointed.
I had some hopes before, but they are dispersed now.

Just wait until Trump defeats Clinton in November. Smiley

Mind if I bookmark this? Wink

It will be close, and either one can win. You can bookmark that. This election won't be a Clinton landslide, no matter how much this forum wants that to be the case. I'm fairly sure of that.

Going after Trump.

The only reason I hope Trump wins is to hit her (metaphorically of course) in the mouth. Good lord I hate her so much.

Wow so much hate. We all feel for you.

Pretty much every poll conducted in SC had her up 20 points, and she's about to win by 50. I'll just assume NV was worth 10, Clyburn was worth 10, and Bernie pulling out was worth 10. Tongue

So Clemson was the most accurate pollster after all.

Don't forget, SC Democrats are very conservative.

Uh, if the updated exit is accurate, I wouldn't blame Sanders if he just dropped out now. Christ.

I'm not guessing it will be a Clintonslide. I'm just amazed that you're so confident someone like Trump will win.

The "mothers" part of the speech, and the Flint section, are what she runs on from now till convention. No reason to attack Bernie. She's pivoted to general.

Clinton managing to give a backhanded swipe to Trump for the whole Corinthians thing while also quoting probably my favorite Bible verse. This is a pretty good speech, imho.

Oddly, USC doesn't do polling, just Clemson and Winthrop.

Very song speech by Hillary. Particularly the part with the 5 mothers. Definitely impressed as a Sanders supporter.

If my math is right, revised exit poll projects it as:

Clinton 75%
Sanders 25%

Honestly, I don't see the reason why black people would vote for anybody other than TRUMP.

Clinton regularly made racially charged attacks on Obama, our greatest president, during the 2008 campaign. It is clear that she is no true friend of African-Americans.

Sanders moved away from Brooklyn because Brooklyn had too many African-Americans for his white supremacist ideals. He moved to the whitest part of the country.

Also, notice the fact that Black Lives Matter has protested Sanders and Clinton events, but never TRUMP events.

He flees Brooklyn because it has too many blacks but then helps Jesse Jackson win the Vermont caucus? OK.

Jesse Jackson is a communist just like Sanders, so he could easily make an exception. The facts are, Sanders moved away to the whitest part of the country so he could influence them with his white supremacism/communism.

But first he was a civil rights leader for desegregation in Chicago? OK.

Opinions can change, friend.

Stop... You're embarrassing him.

Jfern's already embarrassed himself far too much to be embarrassed by this.

Ugh, you people are terrible.

You people are terrible for supporting white supremacists. You must be using all of your willpower not to start screaming about white genocide.

Go away, troll.

Clinton is now winning SC black Dem voters by a larger margin than Obama beat Romney in his hometown of Chicago

Kinda glad Bernie looks to have lost the white vote too. Hope Reddit becomes a bit more readable tonight.

That is representative of a total and utter failure of the Sanders campaign.

Barnwell County is the first fully in; it has gone 87%-12% for Clinton.

Knew it was coming. Cringe.

Luckily the Reddit cult isn't representative of the vast majority of Bernie voters.

Those are really disgusting comments, but I expected them too.

I'm not looking forward to the barrage of condescending comments and possibly racial slurs when Sanders loses South Carolina badly.
