He's lost it. How in the world can you even justify this? At least have the decency to write in Cruz.

This RINO deserves to be hunted.

This RINO deserves to be hunted.

These gutless, ignorant imbeciles who are going to "write in" another candidate are a joke.

Firstly, the election is for ELECTORS, not for a candidate.  An effective write-in vote would have to be for specific electors to be effective.

Secondly, most states won't even count such write-in votes; they'll be ineffective.

They need to show some guts and at least endorse a minor party candidate, or just state that you're abstaining, but don't say you're "writing in" some other Republican to show your party loyalty.  If you're going to bolt, be honest about it.

Dude, you were a Democrat until like yesterday, and I'm pretty sure you don't believe in small government. Who are you to decide who's a RINO?

OK, I'll count that as #NeverTrump, and I've added him to the list.  I hesitated a bit just because several members of Congress have tried to be cute over the word "endorse", saying that while they'll vote for Trump, they won't offer him an "endorsement", but I don't see anything to indicate that Reichert is trying to split hairs like that.

And this coming from someone who thinks John Kasich is a RINO, lol.
I really don't. I misspoke in the post you're referencing.

Found another statement that really clears it up...

Nobody who lives in a country of 300+ million people should believe in small government. Government should exist within constitutional and moral boundaries, not arbitrary size definitions.

If you don't support your party's nominee that was selected by the base, you are, by definition, a RINO. There are RINOs to the left and the right of the party. I was a Democrat because I supported (at least lukewarmly) my party's nominee, but this year I could not, so I left the party. Political parties are not religions, it is your responsibility to align yourself with like-minded people. If you're a foot taller than everyone else in the room, before telling everyone that they're short, maybe you should consider that you're tall?

Rep. Dave Reichert (WA-8) says he won't endorse Trump or Clinton.

http://www.king5.com/news/local/rep-reichert-not-endorsing-trump-not-voting-for-clinton/295137605

He's in a lean-R district, so this is probably a political move more than a moral judgement, but I think most would believe he's significantly more likely to be reelected than not.

Utah Lt. Gov. Spencer Cox won't vote for Trump.  He's met with McMullin and is interested in learning more about him.

I missed former Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez earlier, but he's #NeverTrump, and he's endorsed Clinton:

Added him to the list in the OP.

So I guess Mark Sanford is the one formerly #NeverTrump Republican to have reversed himself into an endorsement of Trump:

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/15/opinion/i-support-you-donald-trump-now-release-your-tax-returns.html?smid=tw-share&_r=0

However, he still decided to write that NYT op-ed about why Trump should release his tax returns.

Not weird at all, if you realize that he is doing it to screw Trump. Or, should I say, to hike the Appalachian Trail with Trump?

>Not voting for a legitimate third party like the libertarians, Constitution, or even that Evan McMullin guy.

>Doing a write-in vote instead for a general who hasn't been relevant since 2000

Is he nuts? No wonder he's losing to Tammy Duckworth. Useless.
