Romney won't attend RNC

Dole will, but is not committed to voting for Trump in November

Based on this, Dole will be the only person attending the RNC who's actually topped the ticket for the party.

Don't know if Mr. Morden posted it but Larry Hogan becomes the third Republican governor who says that he won't vote for TRUMP.

I know Baker and Hogan, but who is the third?

Rick Snyder according to the reporters.

Ah, thank you. I imagine we will get future statements from Martinez and Sandoval and maybe even Kasich and/or Walker.

Jeff Flake's conditions for supporting Trump: Apologize to McCain, Mexican immigrants, and Judge Curiel, drop the Muslim ban and reverse himself immigration and trade.

http://www.bizjournals.com/phoenix/blog/business/2016/08/sen-jeff-flake-donald-trump-needs-to-apologize.html

I'm not going to hold my breath on Trump agreeing to any of that.  Tongue

Hasn't the Muslim Ban already been modified so that not all Muslims are banned and yeah he's not going to get the trade flip-flop.

Every week there is a new modification.

I feel like this is a bigger deal for Cruz than Trump. He as to know he messed up at the RNC. It seems like most of the remaining #NeverTrump folks are more the Kasich types.

I read this article all the way through and find it compelling.  It has caused me to reevaluate some of my conclusions.

I now see logic in folks not wanting to choose either candidate.  Before reading this, I viewed much of that as folks being cowards, wanting to rationalize that they were still Republicans, even while engaging in a serious break from party loyalty.

Erick Erickson is done reconsidering, endorses McMullin

John McCain, Chamber of Commerce....hard to stay on top, too many fleeing in fear.

John McCain has yet to withdraw his endorsement.

So Trump's not going anywhere.

There are some rumblings that Trump is going to hold a rally tonight in suburban New York City in order to rally supporters.

this might be the best possible scenario - regular Republicans not voting for Trump, Trumpicans not voting for Republicans lower on the ballot.

Exactly, plus many many low-turnout Republicans just saying screw it and not going out to vote.
