6 NJ papers have called for a Christie recall in a joint editorial

http://www.app.com/story/opinion/editorials/2016/03/01/chris-christie-resign-recall/81162824/

I know, the signature requirement is immense. Still, this could be something worth investing in. Any chance?

I live in N.J. It is possible. Challengers that could defeat him would include Frank Pallone, Steve Fulop, Steve Sweeney. It would be a big fall for a man who many felt would be the GOP presidential nominee in 2016.

A very big fall. Let's hope no one is underneath him when it happens.

That's a shame. Christie is truly giving the ultimate sacrifice for TRUMP, I daresay.

After the way Christie has been humiliated by Trump and trashed by both local and national media, I think it's a safe bet that no other Blue or Purple State Republicans will endorse Trump.

Meh, Christie was pretty much done with his balls anyway.

I would hope that Rush Holt would consider running. He could remove the stain of Christie from the office.

My uncle in NJ has voted Republican in every single election since receiving citizenship -- except for his vote for Barbara Buono in 2013.

Christie's entire shtick in NJ has been acting as a human shield for the Democratic Legislature. He's no conservative and he never has been -- recall the fuсker!!

Chris Christie is the greatest thing has ever happened to the great state of New Jersey. This won't work.

Wait, are they basically saying: "there was nothing wrong with Christie when he abused state funds and had been involved in the bridgegate, but now that he endorsed Trump he must be recalled"?

What a transparent bunch of tools.

Why? One hardly can be a conservative without strenuously opposing radical national socialism.

You can't recall the VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!

A vice-president who actually wants that job is, almost by definition, not expecting the boss to survive 4 years. Are you suggesting Christi is intending to have Trump killed, or do you think he would like to exchange the governorship for a bucket of warm piss?

1. The Vice Presidency is infinitely more prestigious than the governorship of a state

2. Christie is term limited and his term ends at the end of 2017

3. You should stick to harassing TRUMP supporters in the 2016 election thread, as opposed to posting here and revealing what an idiot you are.

Yet a very, very few people would refuse the Vice Presidency.

How do recalls work in New Jersey? Is it California-style, with a yes/no question (Christie would surely lose that way) and all his opponents running against each other, or Wisconsin-style, with parties having primaries and then a "normal" if off-time general election?

Either way, NJ only limits governors to 8 consecutive years, not 8 years total. So DRAFT CHRISTINE TODD WHITMAN GOVERNOR OF NEW JERSEY

I think, I am starting to get onto your nerves. Good Smiley

No, I will be insulting you everywhere, wherever you appear around here Smiley At least, I am going to do this as long as this campaign is continuing. Though, perhaps longer, my dear compiler-of-execution-lists-who-is-somehow-so-delusional-to-think-he-would-stay-off-them-himself.

By the way, you might want to google "the bucket of warm piss". It happens to be a time-honored description of vice-presidency Smiley

Not so few. When LBJ took it, people were shocked. His only defense was something like: "seven of them did not have to be elected" - and he was right, of course. But he was beyond miserable in the job.
