Sasse is probably going to be the establishment candidate in 2020, assuming Trump isn't President (or even if he is).

Anyone Anti-Trump is the establishment to the voters, at this point.

Hasn't there been a lot of hype given Tim Scott as the Rubio-successor "young minority establishment Senator"? No reason both can't run, of course.

I hope he runs in 2020 if Republicans lose this year.

Sasse is a Tea Party guy with a A rating on conservativereview.com. He's no establishment favorite.

Yes. Sasse, Cotton, Rubio, Scott will be in the 2020/2024/2028 mix.

He's one of my favorite Republicans, if only for his relatively humorous Twitter account. I wouldn't mind seeing him run.

Wow. Can't remember the last time 64% of voters supported the establishment.

Sasse will run after serving two terms as Trump's VP.

Sasse's dissertation for his Ivy League Ph.D. won prizes, and he was a university president before he was a senator, so clearly he's a LIEberal egghead and not a Real American.

Sasse is 44, so he could reasonably run for president at any time in the next ~26 years. My point being that he could wait a long time to run.
