How's the cover?

Acoustic by far. It was at times a little too "sensitive" sounding with Beth Lucas's voice sounding a little too planative and girly. As one commenter on Youtube noted, Vigil's "clean" vocals are awesome and need to be heard more. I concur.

I think a mix between the two versions might be best (or 40/60 original/acoustic). Think of it in a style more like Sum 41 or Blink 182.

Don't you like metal? I've never understood how people who like metal can consider hardcore "just noise and screaming" or whatever.

But besides that, what did you think of the cover? At the very least the girl is hot.

Finally got around to listening to the cover. It's so much better.

So my girlfriend said both are good but the cover is better. Fits better with the lyrical material (it's about the death of his brother)

Also the girl has awesome tattoos, even better than Virgil's.

Both are terrible, I can't stand listening more than 24 seconds. And I used to listen very often contemporary classical and electronic experimental music. And Polish black metal. And Sunn O))). I really can stand a lot in terms of music. But this what you posted is pure garbage.

The Ghost Inside's version is far too emotional for me to not pick that one. It's so powerful considering Vigil wrote it about his brother who passed away, but now has the added dimension given their bus crash. I cannot wait to see them again when they start touring again.
