I doubt that he could have cancelled elections, but Nixon was a big crook. He enacted wage and price controls, which is blatantly unconstitutional.

Nixon was a bad President in a number of ways, but Dick Morris is obviously nuts with this statement.

Dick Morris is clearly nuts most of the time anyways and wrong all of the time, that's for sure; it's part of his charm.

there are people who are more totalitarian to take the office than Nixon.  Problem is we've been going down the wrong parth for the last ninety years, Nixon is just the status quo when it comes to quality of presidents.
