He shouldn't do that weird thing with his voice. Otherwise the speech was good, certainly on content.

It's not the sound of his voice that makes him "creepy" or "weird." IMO.
It's his character, and the fact that everyone in his life (co-workers, college friends, etc) find him "strange" and "unapproachable" in normal interaction.

Well, you're probably a Democrat...

Has nothing to do with being a Democrat or Republican.
Or being fat or skinny, black or white or green, or whatever ...
It's called just being honest.

If you listen to the interviews of past Cruz college friends/acquaintances, who describe Cruz from the past .... you can only come to the conclusion that Cruz is "strange" in conversation or to be around with.
Sweet and simple. Sorry you don't want to see it.
Well, I recognize that reality. But I wouldn't see it as a problem to support such a candidate.

Can someone inform me what's happening? I know Cruz won Kansas, what's happening in the other states? Thanks!
Cruz winning in Maine, Trump winning in Kentucky, but both very early.

Kentucky seems to be for trump by some margin
Maine early reports for Cruz but Trump just won a county so unsure, dont think its many votes yet
Lousiana nothing

Cruz seems very likely to win Maine, according to unofficial results.

From what I've heard of Cruz, it sounds an awful lot like someone with Schizoid Personality Disorder. I have it and I'm a lot like him (loner, disembodied convos, poor smiler), though I couldn't imagine a full-blown Schizoid wanting to or being good at holding public office.

David, honey, remember: this is America.

We don't vote based on stupid things like issues, records, or anything of substance.

When a red-blooded, freedom-loving American decides who they will cast their God-given vote for, they will ask themselves questions like, "Can I have a beer with this person? Would I be their roomate?".

Only you namby-pamby Europeans vote on things like, "How will their proposed changes to the budget affect me and society as a whole? Will they start World War III? Are they literally the Zodiac Killer?" etc.

Cruz winning Maine is a shocker! Is he winning the libertarian vote or something?

Kasich came in second in Riley County, KS; Trump fourth.

Interesting. Here is the Wikipedia information ....

Schizoid personality disorder (SPD) is a personality disorder characterized by a lack of interest in social relationships, a tendency towards a solitary lifestyle, secretiveness, emotional coldness, and apathy. Affected individuals may simultaneously demonstrate a rich, elaborate and exclusively internal fantasy world.

Affected individuals may demonstrate significant creativity, particularly in the areas of fiction writing[citation needed] and visual arts.

SPD is not the same as schizophrenia or antisocial personality disorder. Some psychologists argue that the definition of SPD is flawed due to cultural bias.

For a while, I thought that Cruz might be the anti-Trump candidate. I think he has even bigger electability problems than Trump, but whatever floats your boat, Republicans.
They're both unelectable.

LOLno.

If cruz and trump are unelectable then who should he endorse
Kasich is unelectable in the primary.

He can force it to a brokered convention and win there
Establishment polticians like Kasich are part of the reason why people vote for Trump and Cruz.

And its the job of sane politicians to stop them . Rubio and Kasich should stay in as long as possible to deny Trump and Cruz  getting over 50% of the delegates and then Rubio or Kasich win the nomination

Maine's hat, Aroostook County, has 3 caucus sites.  One doesn't close until 7PM.  It must be one or two of the Aroostook caucus sites.

Aroostook was one of Paul's best counties in 2012.
