That's not an awful result for Trump.  Woodford County is sorta an exurb of Lexington, somewhat higher-income and more educated than the state as a whole.

but it doesn't at all jive with the +20 polls.

WHere are these results for 27% of Maine coming from? CNN, NYT and Politco all have 4.5%/5% counted.

This could wind up being a reasonably good night for Trump if he wins Kentucky and Louisiana. I think that because I still think that many in the establishment would sooner embrace Trump than Cruz.

no, trump is underperforming in every state that is reporting so far.

and he is losing precious delegates as we speak.

The early states seemed to give him the expected numbers.

Nobody expected trump to lose maine. Indeed, go look at the prediction thread.

42-31 Trump in KY with 14% in.  We don't have the metros in, yet, but anyone expecting a Trump call pretty soon?

honestly, that seems like a sorta disappointing result for him. kentucky is a state that has more poor whites overall than many other states. Uneducated whites.

I wonder if there are enough votes out in WKY and the urban areas to overtake Trump? I highly doubt it.

It doesn't matter. trump did not do well enough to get a sufficient amount of delegates.

more close states like this and there is no way trump will get 1237.

If he wins Florida and Ohio he could.

It's becoming regular pattern that trump underperforms the polls. Kasich winning ohio would be a big deal for trump's path to nomination.

Everyone in this thread is missing the point. Trump is killing himself with these under-performances. He is pissing away delegates.

Romney got 70% of the vote in kentucky.

Cruz is behind by about 4500 in Jefferson and St Tammany Parishes combined which both border Orleans. This is almost half the amount he is currently trailing. If Orleans goes the same way then the margin could expand again.

unbiaed, you are missing the point.

trump is MASSIVELY underperforming today. Polls had him up 21 in both kentucky and Louisiana.

A win is still a win
Not in proportional states .

TRUMP CANNOT GET TO 1237 IF EVERY STATE FROM HERE ON OUT LOOKS LIKE TODAY. THAT SIMPLE
