Most people who know my politics identify me as a Goldwater conservative/libertarian, but I have alot of moderate views such as open boarders, climate change, solar energy replacing oil and gas for homes, hybrid cars, affirmative action, stem cell research, death penalty, gay marriage, prostitution, gambling, legalization of marijuana, prison reform, and animal rights.

On economics, foreign policy, defense, school vouchers, and pro-life I'm very conservative though.

Well, I know I'm not Religious Right, Paleoconservative, or Christian Democrat, so I voted for the three other ones.

Voted "libertarian" and "free market conservative", since I'm those things fairly unambiguously. Whether I can be considered "neoconservative" depends on how you interpret that word, so I didn't vote for it. I do obviously support some measure of interventionism and support for America's allies abroad, but it's pretty clear that the 2000s policy of installing democracies even in countries that clearly were not ready for them was...not good, so if you interpret "neoconservative" as supportive of spreading Western-style democracy around the world then no, I am not that.

Voted for "free market conservative" and "other": Zionist right. Didn't vote for "neocon" for the reasons Vosem described. I'm none of the others.

Christian Democrat is probably the only one that remotely describes me, which explains why I am so outnumbered on this forum.

Examples for each group:

Neoconservative: John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Joe Lieberman?
Libertarian: Ron Paul, Rand Paul, Justin Amash, Gary Johnson
SoCon/Religious Right: Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum
Paleoconservative: Pat Buchanan, Ross Perot, Donald Trump
Christian Democrat: Huh (No American examples that I can think of off the top of my head)
Economic/Free market Conservative: Seems to generally overlap with Libertarian, maybe Mitt Romney?

Marco Rubio: Free Market/Neocon mix
Ted Cruz: SoCon/Free Market mix
John Kasich: Christian Democrat?/Free market mix

George W. Bush: Neocon/SoCon mix

Jack Kemp was the archetypal Free Market Con.

With the exception of the trade and immigration issues, Perot has little in common with paleoconservatives. He ran as a centre-left candidate in both '92 and '96.

Free Market first and foremost. I try to stick close-ish to the Church's positions so I'm going with Christian Democrat as well. I also support an interventionist foreign policy which I assume makes me a "neocon" as well.

I'm a three-legged stool kind of guy. Strong families, strong national defense, and a strong economy.  Socon/Neocon/Econocon. I also marked "Other" to indicate that I'm not necessarily opposed to reform movements. I think the future of conservative movement in the next decade will be efforts to reform government to limit it and grow the influence of civil society.
