IIRC the Obama question was at 40% or 41% in NH and she only got 38% of the vote there.

Obviously in VT Clinton massively underperformed the 'continue Obama'  but that is favorite son, she also largely overperformed that number in AR.

However in IA and NH she slightly underperformed the 'continue Obama' number, so she doesn't always over perform.

"Cross party shenanigans" - with respect to Rs voting in D primaries - are not happening unless we're dealing with closed primary states, and even then...I wouldn't call it "shenanigans" since that's how they're registered and they have no choice once election day arrives. There's no way that record numbers of Republicans are voting in the R primary while simultaneously infiltrating the Democratic primary.

Sadly, the only people this cycle who are trying to engage in "cross party shenanigans" are dumb Democrats who think their smattering of uncoordinated votes will make a difference in the highest-turnout Republican primary in history. It's an even bigger problem down South, where all too many of them are already used to voting in state/local Republican primaries in an attempt to pick the least terrible GE candidate.

It does seem like she's only doing worse than that number in lily white states though.

Nice catch. That's the outlier.

It's annoying we're going to have to wait another full hour just because 4 HP counties in Michigan have their polls close at 9.

No results? Won't some trickle in?

I think for exit polls. I could be wrong though.

They'll probably show numbers, like they did in TX. But not make a projection until all polls close.

Yeah, but the media got roasted for calling FL in 2000 before the panhandle closed, vestigial timezone areas of states get to dictate call times forever.

Icespear, Michigan starts reporting before 9. We'll get 5-15% of the vote.

Results will come in from precincts where the polls have already closed, but the TV networks won't release the topline exit poll # or call the state until all polls have closed.

Interesting that Sanders timed his rally for now. Does that mean that he has no plans to speak later? And if so, then that says they are assuming two losses.

Probably. It's going to be a rough night for Sanders.

Well, he was down 20%+ in the MI polls leading into today, so that would make sense.
