I think Bernie takes this, even if the margin narrows.

Congrats to him and his supporters. One of the biggest upsets in political history. Pure craziness. He still has an extremely large uphill climb (even now, he's going to fall even further behind in delegates), but he won a state he needed to win and lives to fight another day.

I'm off to go take a drink. Wink

It's not over yet.

That debate helped, he should be angry more often now.

He should take a swing at her in the next debate. I guarantee that would put him over the top in the next states by double digits.

I have no doubt that this race is going to California now.

Well, he'll stay in the race but he's not going to be able to actually catch her in delegates.

In other news, even though comparing to 08 is a little problematic to compare to, the dems are up a couple hundred thousand votes in total.

But significantly behind the GOP vote count in MI.

The big thing coming out of Michigan is how much he narrowed the Black vote. Good sign for IL and OH?

I think it's a possibility now, don't underestimate the power of momentum.

Sanders is winning in Flint... absolutely devastating to Clinton. The water crisis was her signature issue from even last year.

Ohio, yes.  Illinois has too much Chicago.

With the votes still to count, Hillary can close gap by Wayne, but she'll be trashed outside Detroit. Then I believe that this will be Iowa in reverse.

Which is irrelevant moving to the general election.

He's winning Gennessee County with less than 1/2 reporting, that doesn't mean he's winning the city itself as far as we can tell.

No idea if it is the City of Flint or Genesee County. Still not good for Clinton.

Probably, but he's still making a race out of this, which is impressive in and of itself.

True, out of 2000 odd precincts left, only 700 are in the 3 around Detroit. Ex - Kent has Sanders @ 12K  odd, & Clinton @ 6K odd & has reported only 33%. So those areas could give Sanders another 10K+.

And he is winning throughout the state. If he keeps above 40% in Wayne & around even in Macomb, he has a good chance!

Up 33K with almost half of Wayne still to come, advantage Sanders at this point!

I wonder if many Clinton voters just didn't show up to vote because they thought it was a done deal?

It looks over from what I see. Hillary might narrow the gap, but it won't be enough.
