If 4 of the delegates elected are the Yobs and the Eilons, whether they serve may come down to a lawsuit determining whether they were registered voters at the time of the caucus.

Got off the phone with the Virgin Islands GOP: *ALL* elected delegates were uncommitted. No presidential candidate won a delegate.

...

My fellow Americans, I'm pleased to tell you today that I've signed legislation that will outlaw the Virgin Islands forever. We begin bombing in five minutes.

Seems pretty smart of them. Now, at a contested convention they have a lot of leverage on the first ballot.

I was really hoping we could get through this contest without needing to think about the Credentials Committee.

Perhaps the Virgin Islands should be uncommitted to the United States.

Yeah honestly, this is pretty pathetic. Are the VI people jus completely ignorant of the political process or are they trying to make a mockery of it?

It's going to be a fun time when the convention nominates a candidate by one vote -- the vote of John Yob.

Hey, we kept SC in after Alvin Greene. And DE after Christine O'Donnell.

Well, neither of them ever won anything. John Yob could cast the deciding vote at the convention.

Anyone know what would happen if the Yobs and Eilons would will have been ruled ineligible? If they aren't and the vote holds up, and were Trump to require a single vote, who would negotiate the vote of the Yobs the best, Trump or the establishment?

Under the 2016 USVI Delegate Rules:

So candidates 7-12 potentially matter here.

As to replacement of Delegates by Alternates:

According to John Yob, his wife Erica was elected as a delegate, too.  And someone else on Twitter claims:

Dennis Lennox ‏@dennislennox  27m27 minutes ago
#VIcaucus UPDATE: Entire #USVI #GOP leadership was defeated by @strategic's uncommitted slate, #VirginIslands source says. #clevelandbound

That probably means the Eilons won as well.  But I haven't seen any actual results from St. Croix yet.

John Yob just tweeted a pic of his tally sheet:

2. Gwendolyn Hall Brady - 129
3. Warren Cole - 124
4. Erica Yob - 123
5. George Logan - 120
6. Lindsey Eilon - 117

Alternates
7. David Johnson - 82
8. Valerie Stiles (Rubio) - 72
9. Andrea Moeckel - 67
10. Humberto O'Neal (Rubio) - 63
11. Steven Hardy (Trump) - 52

T-12. Robert Schanfarber (Cruz) - 47
T-12. April Newland - 47

Cruz really bombed on St. Croix.  Rubio cleaned up there.  Cruz's delegate and April Newland will draw cards to see who is the last alternate.

If the two Yobs and one Eilon are kicked off the slate, 14 is Garfield Doran (Uncommitted).  15 is Joshua Schanfarber (Cruz).

Raw votes by candidate's delegates:

Uncommitted 1,063 (65.3%)
Cruz 191 (11.7%)
Rubio 161 (9.9%)
Carson 108 (6.6%)
Trump 104 (6.4%)

I'm not sure how realisticidealist calculated his alternative slate numbers.  But Cruz (6) and Carson (10) had more delegates than the other two (3 each), so the per-delegate percentage for them is much lower.

Going by the traditional way of counting delegate-slate election results like this, the vote count from St. Thomas would be

Uncommitted 38 (30.89%)
Trump 33 (26.83%)
Cruz 31 (25.20%)
Carson 15 (12.20%)
Rubio 6 (4.88%)

Final count would be

Uncommitted 131 (38.40%)
Rubio 72 (21.43%)
Trump 52 (15.48%)
Cruz 47 (14.00%)
Carson 34 (10.12%)

My numbers are using the way Dave does it: highest vote count for a delegate representing each slate

1627 total votes means that anywhere from 272 (1627 divided by 6 and rounded up) to 1627 people voted.

I guess the counting took so long because the counters were still hungover from the "Pre-caucus wine and cheese event":
