Metal is pretty apolitical, except when it's not.  But when it's not, it's all over the place.  I'd agree that of the ones that care, Trump is probably doing better than he does nationally (there are a lot of horrible people that like metal*).  I'd also agree that most "hardcore" kids are into Bernie, but not 100%, that's just silly.  I'd guess 78%, with a 15 point margin of error.  Some are more left wing, some are more libertarian, but generally, yes, Bernie is right in their wheel house.



*of course there are a lot of cool people that like metal too

Sometimes his weird obsessions are kind of right, like this one.  There are perfectly valid reasons to hate suburbs too.  I kind of miss him getting handys at the strip club (and I bet he does too...sometimes), but since he's found hipster Jesus those stories have stopped.

My observation as well, actually. All the kids that I go to shows who say they are into "metal" supported Trump. Literally all of them. And all the kids I know who are into "hardcore" are 100% for Bernie.

Although some of those hardcore kids turned into the "Trump won, just accept it already" types.
