Yeah, we all know the Tea Party was just sore loser McCain voters throwing a hissy fit that the black guy won. If they genuinely cared about any of the issues they professed to, it would've emerged during Dubya's administration.

Depends on McCain's popularity. If he was relatively liked by moderates and swing voters, but disliked by the right, the Tea Party could definitely emerge.
