we don't know. The Republican Party will probably exist, even in the worst case scenarios (namely if Trump doesn't get the nomination and tries to start his own party to supplant the GOP). It's very hard to kill a party in the American system, for a myriad of reasons. To what extent Trump will be a guding influence on the future of the party is a mystery.
