My opinion of President Obama and Mitt Romney has increased tremendously during this election cycle.

Kasich better hope Romney doesn't endorse him, because that would probably destroy any momentum he has now.

If the reactions of his followers are an indication of anything, then Kasich will immediately crash and burn.

This is definitely not an endorsement, IMO.  Romney is probably only campaigning in Ohio with Kasich.

Mitt Romney effectively endorsed John Kasich in Ohio a week and a half ago, so this isn't really news barring a major statement. I wouldn't be surprised if he had offered to campaign with Rubio in Florida.

Of course, maybe Rubio advised Romney to self-deport to Ohio in a secret effort to sabotage the Kasich campaign?

The thing is Rubio is losing Florida by 20, why would he want to effectively hand Trump the nomination?

This is probably part of his NeverTrump campaign rather than an endorsement.

Then where is the support for Ted Cruz? Wouldn't he benefit from establishment support?

(that's an open question, not a rhetorical one)

He did robocalls for Cruz in some states I think, plus he is still encouraging people to vote for Cruz in non FL, OH states

This is just a continuation of his speech last week. He's going to campaign for Kasich IN Ohio. Not really an endorsement for the nomination.

I mean, I'm being facetious, but I imagine that Rubio's relationship with John Kasich isn't a great one. I wouldn't put it past him to deny Kasich the nomination out of spite, and can almost imagine him endorsing Ted Cruz rather than Kasich if he supports anyone after dropping out. (Maybe that's why he looked so shell-shocked yesterday.)

Rubio and Kasich never attacked each other, they have been very cordial with each other

Will Romney actually endorse Kasich? He wants Kasich to stay in the race, so he's helping him win his home state.

I doubt it's a real endorsement. Probably just a "cmon people we have to stop trump, even though I won't put my balls on the line enough to make an endorsement" move.

If Romney had the balls to do this earlier than he might have helped him in Texas. Though I'm sure that he probably hates Cruz too and is just saying it because he dislikes Trump more.

You forget that Beltway Republicans think in the opposite of reality.
