MSNBC will host back-to-back town halls with both Democratic presidential candidates in two key states tonight, March 14, just hours before voters go to the polls for Tuesday's make-or-break primaries.

First, Senator Bernie Sanders will join moderator Chuck Todd in Columbus, Ohio for an hour-long event airing at 6 p.m. ET. Then, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton takes questions at a town hall moderated by Chris Matthews in Springfield, Illinois, airing at 7 p.m. ET.

I used to look forward to these types of things, but now it's getting sort of annoying.

Thankfully, tomorrow is Super Tuesday Round 3.  I can't see them doing town halls in Phoenix or Tucson or Salt Lake City.

Please, no more. Can't we wait until the debates come general election time?

I agree, the primary season is more than 70% over. when you average out both races, so it's time to put to bed all primary debates and town halls.

I think Townhalls are now becoming less of a thing for the general people with so many happening - But publicized townhall is good for the state & it's voters - Those people will likely see & those voters can interact.

We have to adjust to Debates being the main thing & these a bit trivial. I feel that their is an overdose but for a candidate with less name recognition like Bernie, 2 Ohio Townhalls are pretty okay.

When you have  a gap though - Say of 25 odd days without anything  - Then events start to mean more & you wait to see things happen!

Why is Bernie in Ohio again? Wouldn't it make more sense if they were both in IL after being in OH yesterday?

Good performance from Sanders even though Chuck Todd is being terrible.

I'm liking Todd's approach actually. I think moderators should challenge candidates on complex issues, and Bernie held his own when challenged, which can only be good for him.

My favorite was the guy who complained at Sanders that he wants to work on Wall Street. Like, seriously?

Anyone watching this? Chris Matthews actually calls himself a journalist. What a joke.
