You all do realize that this process is much simplier and probably more binding than the Iowa Caucuses.  :-)

Hmmm. . . .Unless someone steps in to vote in the next 20 or so minutes, I will be deciding this.

And I do so love my ties.

Damn, I got me some thinking to do.

Unless someone gets a lead of 2+ votes.

Well with dazzleman's vote, Truman now has one more vote.   So if nobody else votes, you can step in to make me do one of my tiebreakers.

Yup Tredrick.  Unless anybody else votes, you can either make the final round be Jefferson vs. Roosevelt, or you can send this into a tiebreaker.

No tiebreaker this round.  Truman.

BTW, I got a 710 on the verbal section of the GRE and a 770 on the math.

Just thought I would throw that out there.

Well the final results for this round are this:

Thomas Jefferson - 20

Harry Truman - 20

Theodore Roosevelt - 2

Tredrick and Jake did not get their votes in on time.  So this round will go to a half hour tie breaker which will be up in the Election What if forum at 12:10 and will end at 12:40.    The final round will not be posted until we know who the final 2 are gonna be.

Lord, you people are gonna kill me here.   Tongue

That's a pretty good verbal score, but too bad you didn't get an 800 on the math. Wink

Jake and Tredrick would have cancelled each other out, anyways.

Well nothing like a little midnight indigestion for you.   But the tie-breaker poll is now closed and by an overwhelming 12-5 margin, the people did elected to keep Harry Truman and eliminate Thomas Jefferson.

Lordie, Lordie, Lordie.   Just when I thought it couldn't get anymore exciting.   Truman had one more vote with time running out in the round and everyone is looking to see how Tredrick is going to vote.  But from out of nowhere, the factor gets home 2 minutes before midnight, logs on, and votes for Jefferson with only 7 seconds left in the round.   Tredrick, who intended to vote for Truman,  missed the midnight deadline, which could have been a result of the factor voting.   But he knows the risk in voting with seconds left.    Had Tredrick gotten his vote in 6 seconds earlier, there would have been no tie-breaker and Truman would have been eliminated.   But if Harry Truman does win this thing, he should split his million dollars with thefactor for keeping him in it.

Anyways onto the business at hand.

THOMAS JEFFERSON, YOU HAD MANY GREAT ACCOMPLISHEMENTS.  THE MOST NOTE WORTH OF THEM BEING THE WRITING OF THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE.   BUT THE DECLARATION OF PRESIDENTIAL SURVIVOR SAYS THAT YOU HAVE JUST BEEN VOTED OFF THE ISLAND COURTESY OF A LAST SECOND VOTE AND A TIE-BREAKER ROUND!!   GOODBYE!!

PRESIDENT JEFFERSON, THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN!!

<torch extinguished>

The final round will be up in a few.   Please read my statements at the top cause i have a few things I want to say to you all.
