I'm surprised this hasn't truly gotten noticed yet.

What a high energy proposal. Brown should've run.

Freedom proposal. Much better than the previous plan to saw the state off the mainland and let it drift into the Pacific.

I am Governor Jerry Brown
my aura smiles
and never frowns
soon I will be president

Joke aside, I would vote for Brown in a heartbeat over Clinton. Not sure about Brown vs Sanders though.

As California becomes more and more Democratic, a secession of California from the US would help keep the GOP in charge of the US House. This idea might be worth looking into for both Dems and GOP.

Sure, as long as Texas and the rest of the south goes with it. Otherwise, no deal.

How about the part of Texas that Mexico wanted from the new Republic of Texas in the 1830's goes back to Mexico.  That was the river nueces boundary, as opposed to the Rio Grande.

California would never want to be part of the new Dixie, and I am sure that the South feels the same way.

The People's Republic of San Francisco has already made it its business to thumb its nose at the Feds with regard to people here illegally, it being the wonderful "sanctuary city" that manages to protect everyone except young, innocent U.S. citizens. But I digress...
