Would Canada have accepted a close result? Would the province be partitioned? What would have happened to RoC (especially Atlantic Canada which would have been cut off, and Western Canada now even more dominated by Ontario)?

It would have been a lot of fun, for sure.

1995 has been such a trauma for me...

I kinda stopped to believe in independence refernedum since then, always keeping a kind of 'fancy thrill' for it though.

Well, what would have happened?

France would have said she took Canada back.

For sure.

1995 was traumatic for me. I have many bad memories of the referendum. I was just 9 years old and it felt like my parents were getting divorced.
