Lasted about 9 or 10 days, which isn't too bad I suppose. First of all, I'd like to thank all of you who emailed and PMed me with your obvious concern. It was touching.

I'm going to try to do what "Duck Sauce" Defarge did and sort of visit every so often and when I can. I won't be looking to hold office again for various reasons, not least because I likely won't have time over this summer to participate on a significant level.

Notionally, I will try to participate in Mideast regional politics - may be propose a few bills here and there (in fact I had one that I was meant to propose just before I left, but I forgot about it, so I'll put that up in a minute). I will also try to involve myself in a peripheral role in the Caucus and Party once again, though obviously I had already scaled back my involvement in the latter to just membership before I left.

Whilst I won't directly fight the courtcase against Bono, I will do what I can to lend a hand. I will also ask the ILP to submit me as a member of the Progressive Caucus board when it is established at this Caucus convention - given the previous lack of candidates, I'm sure this shouldn't be a problem.
