Wow, extremely disappointed in him. Sad to see him cave. Sestak needs his support. McGinty is a complete disaster.

Casey knows what he is doing, he endorsed Wolf, last time around, and Wolf won.  Dems have to beat Toomey, Pa is the bellweather of the election, along with WI, IL, FL, CO & NV senate.

Sestak is still leading in the primary polls, so who knows? Hope he wins. American hero and he continues to piss off the Democratic establishment. Let's go Joe.

What's the point of having an organization like the DSCC if they're just going to throw Senate seats in the trash? McGinty is a Ron Klink tier candidate - a candidate that will lose to Toomey even as Democrats win Pennsylvania in the Presidential election.

They're standing behind Bob Casey Jr, endorsement. But, I wouldnt count out McGinty, the black vote, in Philly,  will do its part to defeat Toomey.

Now now, that's a little too far. Very few people could possibly match the epic failure that was low energy underfunded LOSER Ron Klink. It takes a special brand of awfulness to lose f'ing Delaware County to Rick Santorum by double digits in a presidential year! Then again, this was back when Democrats were still chasing their tail trying to win Western PA rather than focusing on their growing base in the East.

But yeah, Sestak would be a much better candidate than McGinty. McGinty isn't awful though, she'd basically be generic D.

I think Sestak will win primary, Rendell wanted McGinty to run over the failed Sestak campaign

If Trump or Cruz is the nominee, Likely D. Vote splitting really doesn't happen anymore.

You mean like how Martha Coakley won our gubernatorial election with 60% of the vote?

Gubernatorial elections are different. The 2010 Senate election would have been a better example.

Excellent! Smiley If McGinty is the nominee instead of Sestak, that's one Senate seat less that Republicans have to worry about losing.

They still have to worry about it no matter what. Even if McGinty is less electable than Sestak, it's not like it's safe R with her as the nominee.

Gross. I'm still supporting Joe Sestak, a true friend to the Clintons. He'll be a great Senator for the people of Pennsylvania.

True enough. If it's a wave, McGinty might eke out a narrow win (like Tillis in NC in 2014).

As far as I can tell 2016 will be a good yr, McCain & Portman may see losses in 2016, in what is shaping up to be a good map.
