What if Bloomberg won the black vote, propelling him to the nomination, and then George Floyd happened? How would Bloomberg winning the black vote be reconciled with “police are racist”?

How did Bloomberg win the nomination?

Did Biden drop out after a poor performance in South Carolina? So, assuming that Sanders would have won every state but with a pluarity. So a contested convention

But with COVID, no way they have the convention by May

If Bloomberg is the nominee, he loses 40 states with or without George Floyd

Remember that the events in late February/early March was essentially the Democratic establishment coalescing around a single candidate. If Bloomberg had won one of the four earliest contests, the establishment would likely have coalesced around him.

Except Biden was getting 60% of the party. He did much in a two man race than Hillary ever did. Hell, he did 10-20 points better than Hillary did

That would not happen with Bloomberg. Thousands of Democrats that perfreed Biden over Sanders are not going to automatically vote Bloomberg

Bloomberg skipped the first four states and had little black support

I don't see it affecting anything but how would Bloomberg win the nomination?

Bloomberg support collapsed after the debates but most of his strongest support was in the south btw
