I'm really impressed with Sanders' margins tonight. Obviously he was going to win both states, but damn. Even his AZ isn't bad considering what was being expected by some. Despite the shellacking, he likely comes out with more delegates tonight...yes, I know, negligible in terms of gains, but the fact that he didn't lose ground given what was expected is commendable.

I'm not sure about Idaho, but Clinton didn't even try in Utah.  She wasn't even advertising on Utah over-the-air TV.

She didn't air anything in Idaho either. She spent about $600k on TV ads in Arizona, Sanders spent twice that. And he campaigned in the state for four or five days compared to one stop in Phoenix for Clinton yesterday. She didn't even try in Arizona and still won by a near 20 point margin.

Not trying for caucus states however, that probably played a part in the margins.

The error in the Dan Jones poll in ID (Sanders +2 vs Sanders +57) is almost as large as the Mason-Dixon poll (Clinton +34 vs Sanders +23) in MN. How are they even getting these 50+ point polling errors?

crap like this SHOULD be the nail in the coffin for these garbage pollsters, but alas they'll still putting out garbage in the future,

To be fair, Dan Jones is the only Utah-based pollster, so they're not going to go out of business anytime soon.

Who predicted Hillary would win AZ by more than 20 points? Huh

Idaho didn't particularly surprise me, but Utah did. I thought she'd at least crack 30% there.

The one poll from Arizona had her up more then 20.

Wizards. Obviously.

But seriously, all three states today have had weird reporting situations. Rather annoying.

The early voting handed Hillary AZ, After that Sanders actually led by a small amount.

Anyways real kudos to the Hillary ground campaign who helped push all those absentee ballots in old age homes & hospitals - Strong performance by her volunteers! Sanders' college kid supporters, I guess, were too busy smoking weed!

Politico called Idaho for Sanders, but then uncalled it after realizing that Idaho and Utah are two different states.

An honest mistake.

I kept making the same mistake earlier today explaining what primaries there were today to my mom, but I had the excuse of having just awoken from anesthesia.

LOL, John King on CNN mocked Berniebots for dismissing Clinton's wins in the South because these states don't vote Democratic by pointing out that most of Sanders' wins are in deep red states (Oklahoma, Kansas and today Utah and Idaho).

Good god, Utah county is at 85% Sanders. At this rate I gotta wonder if these folks just refused to vote for a woman lol

Sanders is closing in on 80%.

Hillary is just a horrible candidate. If Sanders can keep over 78.57%, the delegate split should be in his favor, 27-6

Sanders crossed 79% at Utah - Unreal - May touch 80%.

If he can replicate these results in Washington, he will get close to a 60 Delegate gain, that is 1/5th of Hillary's lead gone.

I know that sounds un-realistic but Sanders should try to maximize Washington - Ultimately @ the end of it, better to lose by 100 delegates than say 300. I want Sanders to lay the ground work for a more progressive candidate, if can't win the POTUS

Idaho and Utah are competing to be Bernie's 2nd best state. Utah is currently winning.

Bring her down to the teens Utah!!! A much better night overall compared to when it started. Also only 38% of Yavapai county has reported in Arizona, If it had a Sanders surge it would be the same map of 2008 Tongue

NYT has her at 19.9%

Edit: Well, that was short lived.

Down to 79.1%. Clinton did well in Salt Lake City - She got 21% of the vote which helps her cross the 20% mark!

Guess it will be 79%!

I predict (in Utah) he'll continue to slowly decline, but will remain over 78.57%.

Wow, the delegates are looking pretty good for Bernie in Idaho and Utah. Idaho it turns out he probably wins 18-5, and Utah likely 27-6. That's a net of 34 delegates, and certainly well more than cancels out the 15 or so delegate loss in Arizona.
