If there must be a border wall, there should be gateways at major cities and highways where one can begin the process to acquire citizenship and legally immigrate, somewhat similar to the US-Canada border.

If there must be a border wall, there should be gateways at major cities and highways where one can begin the process to acquire citizenship and legally immigrate, somewhat similar to the US-Canada border.
Nobody is suggesting that the border be sealed. Even Trump wants a big beautiful door in the wall.

Yes, but don't make Mexico pay for it.

This confuses me. If you support a wall, why wouldn't you want to have someone else pay for it? I don't think anyone believes Mexico isn't making a killing off of us.
