I'm starting to believe Sanders is the same boat as Romney in late 2012, where he was surrounded by people pedaling the "skewed polls" nonsense and had no concept of reality. Does he really believe he can run the table and overcome Clinton in delegates? Some of his supporters, like Alan Grayson, seem quite confident.

If he doesn't think he can win, why keep going negative on Clinton? He repeated his line about her Goldman Sachs speeches tonight. If he knows Hillary's going to be the nominee, why keep trying to turn people against her, and keep his supporters hostile towards her? It can be especially damaging to criticize her on the "special interests" issue when her opponent is going to be Donald Trump, who like Bernie isn't taking any money.

No he doesn't.  His miraculous comeback was supposed to begin tonight, but Hillary will likely outscore him in delegates yet again.

He attacked her yet again tonight because:
A)  He doesn't have any other speech, just the one-size-fits-all-occasions speech, and he doesn't feel like changing it, because
B)  He is a bitter, sore loser, and
C)  As his campaign moves have shown this week, his sole remaining strategy is to go scorched earth on Clinton and try to convince all the superdelegates that he is the only one who can beat Donald Trump.

No. His goal wasn't to win in the first place, but to bring up issues.

I think that he was in it to win it from about December until Super Tuesday or so. If he had won Iowa, Massachusetts, and Missouri (perhaps Nevada), he would be in a much better position. I think that he realizes how lucky he has been in this race. If he was in it to win it, I think he would have dropped out after last week.

Given Landslide Lyndon's slight improvements and Lyin' Steve's major deterioration, I'm beginning to question which one is truly worse.

Lief is the worst poster by far - In Trump's words " A Bad dude", probably Lyin' is next! Landside has made some improvements, maybe Hillary has stopped paying some interns lol!

Lief is a troll, and the fact that he's actually believable makes him the only good 'ironic Trump supporter'.

It might take a while to figure that one out. Are people still voting in Arizona?

AP has delegates for tonight at 57 Sanders 51 Clinton, with some still to be figured out in Utah and Arizona.

In any case, let's dispel with this fiction that Sanders cares about the overall welfare of the democratic party. He doesn't. No, he's not going to endorse TRUMP or Stein. But he's not going to stop attacking Hillary, or get out of the race, or stop trying hard to win, or whatever you may please. He doesn't consider himself a democrat and only entered the primary as a matter of convenience. He may endorse Hillary, but don't expect him to be VP, on the cabinet, or to be a frequent campaigner for her or for establishment downballot candidates in the fall.

Sanders' campaign has become a racket for DC consultants and ad makers. Plus, all the media attention and adoring crowds of impressionable college kids have obviously gone to his head.

It's a campaign for manufactured outrage. Sanders has joined the Democrats only to follow the Republican playbook...

As things stand, today's/last night's delegates were split 75-56 in favor of Sanders, with a potential for -1 to +3 in Arizona and a potential for -1 in Utah. Having made up around 19 delegates, that puts him roughly on track (about 1% under) to catch Hillary, assuming similar future election days.

Serious analysis from someone who has failed to explain the difference between a "moderate fascist" and a "liberal fascist".
