Ted Cruz is a dishonest, sleazy man with a reputation for being unable to get things done and not working well with others.  Clearly, one of the reasons for this is that he simply cannot be trusted!

It's always been obvious that his smug moral superiority is compensation for a history of sexual deviancy.  The loudest voices demonizing others for their sexual activity tend to be the biggest hypocrites and liars.

The allegations suggest that some of these women worked for Cruz, which means that he abused his position of power to get what he wanted.

The attempt by some to live vicariously through Ted Cruz.

It does not shock me that powerful men have mistresses or extramarital affairs.  I don't condone this, but I also live in the real world.  If Ted Cruz used his public position to cover-up or buy off an extramarital affair (which hasn't really been confirmed yet), that would be another issue.  For the time being, I'll meditate on how many times the ENQUIRER has informed me that Brad and Angie were getting divorced in the last 5 years.

Agreed! The notion that Ted Cruz slept with any of these women is offensive to said women, who presumably have at least some standards +  a bare minimum of self respect (at the very least).
