If Wales win, they are guaranteed first place. If they draw, they're guaranteed third place with four points which probably will be enough for qualification.

About 8 % of ALL Icelanders are in France at the moment and 2.5 % watch the game against Portugal live, in the stadium. That is the equivalent to 25 million Americans going to Rio and 8 million watching a single event.

Fair play to the Icelanders.

In Lille, England and Wales fans are fighting with Russian fans, again.

Alas, no... and the US should beat Ecuador to make the Semis there so that's a crying shame... but this forum only cares about European footy.

If you've read the thread, you'd have noticed that most posters here are European, so obviously they care more about the EURO's. So instead of complaining about what others prefer, perhaps you should make a thread yourself.

More violence involving, predominantly England fans, from what it seems, in Lille yesterday.

I think England should be thrown out of the tournament at this point; an then all the delightful people who were getting into the fights can all come home and be publicly held to account for what they caused.

Excellent. I won today's pot in my company, because I predicted a 2-1 England win.

Looks like Northern Ireland have had a case of Fritzwalterwetter.

This referee is allowing a lot more roughhousing than I would. The Ukrainians are being thrown down without fouls being called.

I'm surprised it's still 0-0 after the first half.

Portugal is miles ahead of the Austrians technically and we are constantly losing the ball.

If they cannot get their act together, I think Portugal will easily score a few goals in the 2nd half.

Austria is simply not ready for prime-time. Maybe a year ago, they would have been, but not now.

Their only chances are if they get some freekicks in front of the Portugal goal ...

Hilarious.

Portugal is literally dominating the game and constantly on powerplay, but simply cannot score a goal ...

This game still has the potential of becoming a classic ...

Maybe Austria is stumbling the ball into the Portuguese goal somehow in overtime Wink
