The shift in demographics and also the debate of climate change and alternative energy will be more prominent.

I can imagine the political establishment would be even more threatened than they are now.

I definitely expect that Sanders's campaign will lead Democrats to the left on economics. So things like a higher min wage, higher taxes on the rich, Wall Street reform, investing in infrastructure and education, etc.

I have no idea with the Republicans. That party baffles me.
